Grocery Aisle: Crate Plastic Returns

While sustainability doesn’t just mean recycling, it is a big part of what we do. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, we work with a milk crate recycling service to recycle broken or damaged crates into new crates. Since we began tracking this effort in 2018, we’ve been able to recycle 500,867 milk crates equaling 1,301,960 pounds of plastic saved.
