Recycling media products

Reuse or recycle unwanted media products. Donate Cds and DVDs to a charity, thrift store, library or day care. Sell them to a reuse store or pawnshop. Trade them or give them away to friends and family. Recycle them into new media products.

Reusable bags

When asked to choose between paper and plastic bags, say "neither." Buy reusable bags and take them on all your shopping trips-not just to the grocery store. Keep some in the car or in your carry-all at all times so you won't be without them when you need them. Note: Publix sells reusable bags in stores.

Change of address

If you have recently moved to a new address, but still have several checks left with your old address, you do not necessarily need to order new checks. If your ID has been updated, is most cases you can continue to use the checks you still have. Just handwrite your new address and phone number on the checks as your write each one or affix new-address stickers.
