Product Sourcing
While Publix has a variety of exotic food choices from around the world, we are proud of the products we source from "just down the street". From produce to seafood to floral, Publix supports area suppliers and offers fresh, local products whenever possible.
While we source close to home as much as possible, we also consider what our customers want. Publix works hard to make our fresh product, like produce, available at the quality and price our customers expect, whenever they expect it. For example, most packaged salads come from the west coast, but Publix has worked with an east coast supplier who has introduced a line of salads just for Publix.
We are proud to offer a large variety of products grown in the states that we do business. Our support of the Redland Raised program in South Florida is one example of how we can better inform our customers about the benefits of buying products grown close to our marketing areas like Green Beans, Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Okra and Avocados.
